Frequently Ask Question

FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS
Here you have questions to every question

Can I Alter a Purchase Beat ?

Yes, as long as you own a licence of the beat. This is only valid for the purchased beats and not the tagged or downloaded for free beats.

Can I Get a Refund ?

No. Considering the specific nature of the product, we do not offer refunds nor take back purchased beats. Since we commercialize digital products, every purchase is definitive. Note that every beats cans be listened and downloaded in a tagged version. Use this opportunity to be sure of your choice.

I purchase exclusive rights. May the beat be leased again? Has it been leased before? Once a beat is sold exclusively, we are no longer allowed to sell a license to that beat. On the other hand it may be possible that a beat has been leased to several persons before it has been sold exclusively.

What Can I Do With a Free Beat Download ?

Only a non-commercial use is allowed for a beat downloaded for free. We provide free beats to the artists so that they can record demos before purchasing a licence or record a song that they will broadcast for free. The instrumentals downloaded for free are tagged and it is strictly forbidden to remove the tag(s).

What´s Include in my Purchase?

It depends on the licence you choose:

  • By choosing the “MP3 Lease” licence, we will provide you the instrumental beat in the MP3 320kbs format ;
  • By choosing the “WAV Lease” licence, we will provide you the instrumental beat in the MP3 320kbs and WAV 24 bits formats ;

Differences Between Leasing and Exclusive licenses.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN LEASING AND EXCLUSIVE LICENSES:

While leasing rights (also known as non-exclusive rights) have restrictions in number of allowed sales units, earnings, etc., and can be sold to multiple persons at the same time, exclusive rights is the only license type, allowing unlimited use on any medium without a license expiration limit! After an exclusive rights license has been sold, the according beat will become unavailable for any type of licensing.

Unlimited License and Exclusive License Are not the same?

Although these 2 licenses may seem similar, there are 2 major differences between them:

  1. With the Exclusive License you do not have an expiration date, which is the case with the Unlimited License (and once the Exclusive License of the beat has been acquired, the rest of the licenses cannot be updated and will expire).
  2. With the Exclusive License you will earn 80% of the publishing rights (ASCAP, BMI, SGAE, etc.), instead with the Unlimited License you earn 50%.
